How can you tell If I already own it?

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 1:12 am

I have been buying stuff I already own, and its making me bad. Is there anything in the game that tells if if you already own that spell or item? Please HELP!!!!

Sorry, don't know what to tell you then.

EDIT: Look at your magic list.

Tough lemons. Sorry, but if you don't want to do a few button presses instead of just remembering if you have a spell or not then I fail to see any alternatives.

Bethesda will sadly keep making games catered to these types of people.

May I suggest a convenient system of arrows and pointers to help my man out. Can we do that? Beth?

A simple change to the poor UI would be helpful (although a wholesale change would be better). Red items are stolen, green could be used for items that are already in your inventory.

Remember key words of the names of the spells you have.
Like "spike," "chain," etc.

Spike being for ice spike and chain being for chain lightning

I agree lets scrap the whole tome thing and just sell the Bumper Book O' Spells for 5 coin at every merchant.

(I'm kidding Beth don't you [censored] dare)

Really it couldn't hurt to have a learned marker on hover, that way the collectors can buy 2 if not and the lazy or folks that don't care can skip them.

Maybe this person is new to TES. Maybe this person is new to RPGs. Obviously, this person is new to the forums. Maybe s/he was simply curious as to whether there was a simpler method of determining what spells s/he already knew. Is it really necessary to answer with such venom?

Uninstall. I'm assuming from the number in your name your 28...... Go back to your teachers and slap them for letting you graduate (provided you actually did)
