How do I change the look of web pages?

Post » Fri Dec 02, 2011 5:30 am

So I started using my 1080p 40in TV for a monitor and I changed the font to something a bit bigger so that I could read it without having to sit 2 feet in front of the TV. Only problem is now the Facebook homepage is squished together with huge white margins of unused space on the sides.

One of my friends changed the look of web pages on Firefox and I was wondering if it was possible to do the same on Google Chrome? More specifically how do I change the width of facebook to look right on my TV?

Ctrl + Scroll wheel may be what you need. Even if it's not it will still give you a minimum of 10 minutes of fun. Another option is to look for CSS editors, I think the one for Chrome is called stylish. They usually have repositories of community made style sheets available on the plugin's website that you can look through. Alternatively you can do it yourself.
