I have Turtle Beach X11's, and I obviously want to use those for gaming on the Xbox 360. However, when I connect my red/white cables on my headphones to the audio out on the TV, no sound comes out of the headphones.

I really have no idea how to get these things to work on this TV, and I have nowhere else to turn. I've been searching infinite other websites and forums that either turn up no answers or yield no response from the community. Do you guys think you could help me get these things running? This is really kind of a last resort.

My guess is you're using HDMI, and at that point, I wouldn't know how to hook them up. I'll do a quick google search for you.

I'm using an HDMI cable for the Xbox picture, not component.

Might need an HDMI adapter, to split the audio off the HDMI. Again, not 100% sure, never owned a Turtle Beach headset.

I don't really know how the HDMI adapter works or what is does.

Anyway, your TV has no 3.5mm audio jack, so you have to either switch to Composite (+ Component cables for anolog HD) or get the http://www.turtlebeach.com/support/index.php?View=entry&EntryID=609220155

You know, after all these years, you'd imagine Turtle Beach would offer a real option for HDMI given the popularity. I don't understand how Turtle Beach remains "popular" when they don't cater to their customers (who statistically are by-and-large using HDMI)
