Me? I cast Mayhem then Invisibility to avoid a bounty. A most elegant kill. Oh, the carnage! Sure, I didn't get a bonus because she runs down the stairs to fight everyone, but still... Corpses everywhere! A mother fighting daughter! A priest fighting a beggar! And most of them carry jewelry!

Nice! Always fun to let others do the dirty work. I had to push the gargoyle, then have my DB buddy create a diversion while I hopped down the side of the castle and ran out through the windmill to safety.

Gargoyle and sniper assassinations are the obvious ones, but it's still awesome to nail her in the head. Or going obvious like and simply slaughtering everyone.

I just stood there in the courtyard, among the quests, and casually aimed an arrow at hear head and fired it. Guard came up, I paid a thousand bucks and then went to collect my reward.

Gargoyle. Still, it's a pity they immediately figure it out for a murder rather than a freak accident (like the old man and his trophy in Bruma in Oblivion).

I shot her in the face from the back of the area and then jumped into the temple right behind me. I couldn't go the frenzy route (really funny) because I wanted the bonus. ;-)

I followed her and the groom out on the balcony. No one seemed to notice. Then I cast Fire Storm and blasted everyone off the balcony. That got noticed.

And then I ran like hell, out the city's side door. Didn't get to loot the bodies, but oh well.

I've killed her 3 times now I think?

Once with a bow from across the courtyard.
Once with a Frenzy spell- she was actually killed by a Penitus Oculotus agent- how's that for irony?
My favorite was a double backstab on both her and her groom simultaneously with Blade of Woe on one, and Mehrune's Razor on the other. After being sure I hadn't been spotted, I stripped her naked and tossed her corpse off the balcony. Great fun!

No bounty on any of them.

Edit: now that I think of it, I didn't have Blade of Woe yet then- was probably an Elven dagger. That's what I used on that character before I got it.

First time I didn't know about the gargoyle. I popped up on the balcony with her and her husband while she was speaking. Stabbed her, husband obviously saw me, then I hit him in the face with my axe. Apparently he was the only witness as my bounty cleared and everyone ignored me. Few guards did appear on the balcony to check things out, then Veezara came up too and started trouble. I walked off clean. Took a few tries to get it though.

Second time I was lazy and dropped the gargoyle.

First tme sniper shot, second time gargoyle drop and I looted her for the special items. Gargoyle drop is the easy peasy one to be sure. I didn't eve get a bounty because I went invisible after pushing the statue and casually walked out of the city.

Gargoyle, and using the invisibility power from the Nightingales. Then I waited until it had all calmed down, hopped down onto the balcony, stripped her body of anything valuable, and casually chucked her off into the courtyard.

Used the gargoyle statue myself. My sneak was already at 100 so I didn't even have to run at all. I pushed it and then casually walked down and looted her. Then listened to her husband cry. Boo-Hoo!

I didn't even know you could kill her by shooting a gargoyle, the two times I did it so far I just shot her through the throat.

You don't shoot it. You push it from the walkway above the balcony she is giving her speech from.

If you talk to all the DB members before doing the job, they all suggest different ways to kill her.

Ive never managed to get the bonus when using the statue. Ive always ended up on the opposite balcony using that special bow that the DB leaves for you.

Did you drop the statue on her while she was giving her speech? You won't get the bonus unless you do it during her speech.

Yeah, I did it while she was talking about peace and togetherness. I always got caught too, when I used the statue.

I did the Dark Brotherhood last in my game. Didn't want to kill anyone important early in the game.

Most of my skills were at 100 so it was pretty easy to kill everyone without getting caught. And if I did, I'd just pay off a guard and walk away.

I killed a few people right in front of others and they wouldn't even notice me.

Hm. They wouldnt allow me to pay off the bounty when i got caught on that particular quest. They wanted to fight to the death.

It was my mages most epic assasination ever, lol.

After realizing some of my targets were equipped with some interesting stuff, I wasn't in a hurry to leave after the kill.
I pickpocketed the ring off her man, poisoned her, and ganked her wedding outfit.

Push the statue on her while sneaking and immediately take an invisibility potion and run down the stairs. No bounty and the poor DB lizard who's got your back has to fight his way out for nothing.
