How does a legion soldier lose his pants?

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 4:12 am

He gets his [censored] kicked by the thalmor. I hate the new legion outfits. No pants, apparently losing a war will cause you to lose your pantalones as well. I want to wear the occulatus armor but the no pants thing ruins it for me.

Customary rule for Skyrim - long body armour... with overhanging leather or cloth of some kind for the weather

and also to fit aesthetically with the Nordic dresscode...

short version - Skyrim doesn't like outsiders... and it seems outsiders don't like skyrim? ... meh, just stay in 1st person :( sorry mate

the shin boots look good enough as greaves for me.... and if you look at alot of ROMAN armour styles... NONE have pants... as you describe
but if your worried about getting a cold breeze up your new imperial kilt... then id suggest wearing ragged trousers... you'll find them on various prisoners all around skyrim... but then you wouldnt have very good armour... but at least you'd have pants :D

You know, I just watched "Troy" this weekend, Dang if short skirts don't look sixy on the right man.. My Hubby say's theirs no way in Hades :shakehead: he'd wear one for me.

I know it's a "man" thing. 1st person and you will never see "his" hairy legs. OR next time play a female and you can look at "HER" backside instead.

No pants allows you to go from Reading to Battle Ready by just standing up.

Nords have cold resist
Nords aren't the only race in the Imperial legion.

EDIT: Most if not all Stormcloaks are Nords and they wear pants.

I don't mind them, but at the same time I don't like how they combined pants and shirts into one piece. It doesn't allow for much mismatching. Preferably, I would wear pants with that Imperial armor. I could be wrong, but I think the Romans did the same thing in the northern regions like Great Britain, France, Germany...

They have no pants because they keep them in their pockets so that they can pants-parachute from high mountains! Pants-parachute is the best mode of transport

Thats what i found

While Romans considered the wearing of pants or trousers to be against any standard code of dress, legionaries in cold climates were allowed to wear wool or leather skin tight trousers that reached just below the knee.

You`re putting 21st century values to ancient fantasy... Fantasy medievel-ancient Role playing is about living in a world where most men and women wear what you would call `skirts`. If you can`t get used to the fashion of the times you should play Mass Effect 3 or something.

It`s funny, but I`ve worn ancient Roman armour (copy) with the `skirt` - you don`t feel weird at all.

In fact you feel more like a Man.

I personally love the new imperial armor because I like Rome, and honestly I wish we would go back to just wearing tunics, seems so much more comfortable.

Why did the Dawnstar courier give me the Museum note in his underwear? Seriously, I'm entering Whiterun and a naked guy comes up and says, "I have something for you". Sure you do, so I gutted him.

Honestly, the Roman parallel is cool but I prefer the Legion outfits from the other games.

You know, the Legion armour in Oblivion was the odd one of the three. Morrowind Legion Armour: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:MW_Armor_ImperialSteelM.jpg http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:MW_Armor_ImperialSteelF.jpg

I remember thinking Morrowind Legion armor was a rip off of Maximus' armor from Gladiator. Specifically with the two horses on the front.
