So I'm mainly a Warrior. I can pick locks but I'm not a stealth person. The only time I'm a stealth person when I feel like clearing out a room with my Bow and the Dark Brotherhood questline and almost every time I try to pickpocket I get caught.

So how easy would the Thieves Guild be?

It's easier apart from 1 quest when you follow somebody

You could say they're easier as a warrior, since all the quests are just dungeons save for Goldenglow Estate.

Very easy, there are only one or two quests I can think of that actually need a moderate sneak skill. You actually get

equipment that will help you somewhat anyway.

im not that bad at stealth, but still ended up killing a lot of people while doing the TG quests, because i have no patience. No biggie, they dont even seem to mind. (the guild, not the victims, im sure they minded plenty)

Yeah I heard about that. Can I just kill the guy if I get caught pick pocketing him?

Mage guild: Can be done by a pure warrior or thief.
Thieves guild: Can be done by a pure warrior or mage.
Fighters guild: Can be done by a pure mage or thief.

For the misc quests where you steal/pickpocket, no. you will get in trouble for it. And most of the people you steal from are marked essential.

I'm talking about the Goldenglow Estate quest. What happens if i get caught pickpocketing the guy?

The owner of the estate himself is either not there, or I didn't see him if he was. When I did the quest there were only mercenaries, which you can kill freely.

I looked it up cause I was curious, he is there on the second floor. I never had to come near him to complete the quest, I don't know what happens if he catches you.

You can't get the key so you have to pick the lock on his safe on your own. If you kill him, Brynjolf [censored]es you out, but I don't think you lose anything.

ive killed him all three playthroughs now. im terrible at pickpocketing. When he catches you he yells a bit, then attacks you, so you have to kill him. When you get the quest, the guy tells you that Maven prefers you leave him alive, but its ok to kill him if he gets in your way. You dont *have* to get the key off him anyway, its optional. you can just pick the lock - but its a master lock.

Okay is there anything else that requires pickpocketing? Or is pickpocketing just an option for the Thieves guild?

i think my pickpocketing is at 20 at most. You really only need it for the misc quests at the end, i think.

And it's one of the most disappointing things about this game in my opinion.

Yeah I'm doing the college of Winterhold questline and I only needed to use spells a couple times. I initially was planning on being a hybrid of Warrior and Mage but being an all out Warrior suits me more. I have some apprentice level spells though just in case.

I would say that difficulty depends on which difficulty you selected, because there are several Theves Guild quests with multiple enemies and stealth is pretty difficult to achieve. Personally, the theves guild was the most boring quests to me. I know theves are supposed to behave like criminals, but the characters are so anoying, it makes me want to exterminate every soul in the Rataways. Especially the guy who keeps saying he's going to smash my face in. He's really got a death wish. I might just give Lydia the green light next time I'm down there.
