How do you fix up the houses you buy in skyrim? I do not know how please help

Ha ha, just talk to the same person you bought the house from, the Jarl's steward in most cases. If you're on Xbox I recommend you save before buying ANYTHING in case it doesn't work right the first time (because it almost always happens to me) and then buy everything and test the house. What house have you purchased?
