How to force player to play attack animation

I've seen a few mods that appear to force the chacter to swing his currently equipped item, does anyone know the script command to accomplish this? Or is it done through other means? Thanks!

Use Idles, if you go into the "Animations..." window and under 0_Master behavior there will be a list of actions, each action will contain a number of idles. Find the one you want, link the property in your script

Idle Property my_idle Auto

Game.GetPlayer().PlayIdle(my_idle)
