I'm on XBox 360. I've never connected it to the internet. I don't have wireless access on the 360. I don't have xbox live.

Now that we've got that covered, I think I'd like to get the latest patch which allows mounted combat, and maybe some of the DLC. My 360 is in one room of the house, my router in the other. I 'think' I could hook up the 360 to the tv in the same room as the router, and then connect a cord from the router to the 360. If I do this, will I be able to get the latest patch?

I don't know anything about any DLCs, but I'm assuming I need a paid xbox live account to get anything like that, correct?
