The navigation in the editor is pretty ankward and confusing , as has always been after all , so I am not complaining much this but , I find pretty hard to understand where I am in a cell , is there a map or something that can be consulted to understand in what region of the map the cell I am looking at is?

I'm not sure what you are looking for besides the cell coordinates, which the Kit gives you. The Cell View window (which is one of the three default windows) shows you what cell you are in.

You can enable LOD for the render window in one it's INI files, that might help you to figure out where you are.
