I was thinking about spending 700-800 septims on building a PC for Skyrim gaming, and for other application I need it for, but since there don't seem to be a lot of mods out yet I am interested in, I thought I would wait and hopefully get more sload soap for my septim.

Anyway, for you PC experts, would you say that waiting until the new year would get me an even better rig for say, 800 than it would now?

You will always get a more powerful computer if you wait a while. Just don't get stuck into the "waiting game" where you keep waiting for newer better hardware forever and never actually buy anything cause there's always something better and cheaper around the corner

I hear you. I just figured that since I am still having a lot of fun on my 360, I may as well wait for more (bigger) mods to come out as long as 800 bucks will get me more in 6 months than it does now. Do you think I would be able to build a rig that could play Skyrim on high settings for that kind of dough?
