How long will you live in Skyrim?

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 4:00 pm

I know... I feel sometimes more alive there then anywhere else.

Or maybe I'm just mental.

Sometimes I prefer Skyrim to my life.

sometimes I don't want to leave.

Do you ever just want to never leave Skyrim?

I'm with the bandits (who's lives are full of misery and disappointment) who say, "maybe I'll retire... buy an island..."

Yeah your mental alright but I know what you mean it dose have a certain compulsiveness to it. Just don't try to use a fire spell in Tescos or shout you never should of come here when they tell you the price of your shopping.

Even General Tullius wants to stay in Skyrim.

Eh. I can't remember the line now. It's cool though.

naa, while I find Skrim much more interesting than "As the World Turns" or "Day's of our Lives", The rest of my RL is pretty cool.

I'm not sure if I know what you mean. I mean lately I've been thinking about Skyrim about just as much as us guys are supposed to think about six (which is complete [censored] btw.) At work I think of what cool mods would be and what a cinematic version of quest I did would be or think of a backstory or adventure one of my guys had. Sometimes I even write quests based on real life obstacles to help me get through them. Just the other day I defeated an evil hagraven that uses her powerful fury spell on me to piss me off and then uses calm last minute to [censored] with me. I had to get mad [censored] done so I drank a stamina potion. So some nasty [censored] I work with that nothing is ever good enough for becomes way more fun to deal with. And energy drinks as stamina potions is ill too because it works the same. But in truth, I'd never wanna live in Skyrim. Even if I could take all my family and friends. Unless some form of Hip Hop ends up growing out of Hammerfell I'm pretty at home here on Earth.

....I wish bethesda could actually make hammerfell music be hip hop inspired without pissing all the pretentious fanmen off that fail to recognize the superiority of the art form

I'll leave when I have completed every single quest and explored every single location. However I don't play it that much anymore as I've done the same quests 4 times (with 4 different characters) due to game breaking bugs.

Probably play on and off until the next TES comes out. right now I'm really fanatical but after a year or so I usually calm down.

where is the fun to live in Skyrim if you can't have six with a women or even raise little brats.. hmm ok i've heard that there are already mods who make it possible.. but i don't need another life simulator not to mention that this one has much better graphics but the ai gets more and more worse.

I think I will spend years playing Skyrim - and maybe, with the Imperial Furniture Shop and other Mods it could be longer as in Oblivion ( and I have not stopped playing it yet, but at the moment I am more in Skyrim as in Oblivion). It is a wonderful game. But RL is always important...

I expect I'll spend a long time playing Skyrim but I could never live somewhere without a single decent bookshop :read:

To the OP: I know how you feel. In my case, my true home is Morrowind(Vvardenfell). Other folks "live" in Oblivion. Skyrim for me is a beautiful depressing landscape. In a place that feels like Siberia only the strongest and adventurous will find it comfy.

Absolutely this. I really do miss the nice little bookshops they gave us in Morrowind and Oblivion. I don't understand why Bethesda left them out. Surely Solitude ought to have a decent bookstore at least.

::EDIT:: I agree with Boxcab: I think there's a mod idea here.

::2nd EDIT:: On topic: I'll be in Skyrim until the next Elder Scrolls game comes out. And I'll still be there after that if the previous games are any indication.

You're in enough trouble with moderators already. What you suggested is illegal and I'm trying to keep you from being banned from the forum. If you don't care about that, that's on your head. I wash my hands of the whole thing.

Thanks for inform. But this is not moderator fault about complains. And Your know very well who is behind. He can ban me from this minute, because I don't see any futures from dev team.

I'm the other way around myself left Skyrim and did not go back.Toyed with the idea of modding it but i do not even think that will make it a enjoyable game for myself each to their own i guess.

Earth doesn't even get hip hop right these days.
