How to make a positionable corpse?

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 5:25 pm

In previous games if you simply set the actors health to 0, the CS/GECK recognized that they were a dead corpse, and you could enable havok and position them. However, in the CK that doesn't appear to work. I have three dead bandits that I would like to position, but I cannot. They all load in (Dead), and fall to the ground once ingame. The issue is that they all fall in the exact same way. (All on a flat surface)

Does anyone know how to get them to havok within the CK so I can position them manually?

After setting them dead, turn on "havok" in the tool bar (left of FX). Play with the dead body and when it's well placed, turn off havok and select "Don't havok settles" in the reference windows.

Edit : And if you ALT-drag while Havok sim runs, you can select a joint on the corpse and position the corpse like you want.
