How to make a summoned familiar ignore player attacks? (not

I'm trying to figure out how to make a basic familiar ignore attacks from the player (up to a certain point, like a normal follower).

I have a custom familiar spell that summons a regular wolf. The spell is used with a custom follower NPC. It functions like a regular familiar in every way.. problem is, if the player hits the damn thing even once, the wolf will turn on the player. It happens often, as the wolf loves to get in the way of incoming ice spikes, fireballs, etc.

I should clarify that this familiar belongs to a follower npc, not the player.

I tried going in and adding a relationship to the player on the wolf itself, but when I go to add it the wolf's ID isn't available in the list.
