How Do I Make This Woman My Wife? : V

She is a ranger from darkwater crossing, I killed her husband, did her side quest, and I now have the option to make her a follower. How do I make her my wife?

Go to the marriage page on UESP, that has the list of marriageable characters.

Since she was married when you met her, she can't be married without the use of console commands on PC.

svcks... I didn't know she was married. A lot of people have mentioned her as one of the better looking females. The marriage thing really needs help.

Not sure, I'm on XBOX. Look up the marriage faction, and do the addfac command for it, and then setrelationshiprank 4, if I remember correctly.

Is her daughter the attractive blonde by the fire? Does her kid come with her? How do I marry her? I dont see that option.

I love how casual the OP is about killing the woman's husband. I know it's only a game, but it's kinda funny to just see "yeh killed this woman's husband, now how do I marry her?"

If you're playing on PC, you can force marry anyone with console commands. I don't know how because I play on PS3.

Only if their voice actor recorded the dialogue. People like Vex and Karliah with special voice actors can't be married, or any Bosmer/Khajiits, because their voice actors never recorded the lines.

Isn't it more realistic that some people just aren't interested in marrying you, no matter how "eligible" you are? Having every person you meet willing to drop their linen the moment they spot you might work in a game like Saints Row The Third, but I'm not so sure about Skyrim.

She has a daughter in shores stone, the younger version of her, do her little letter mission, and bam, you can marry her.

Open the console, click on the NPC you want to marry and type...

I did. I pressed ~, typed in that code while looking at Sylgja, and nothing happened.
