How many battles you have had with dragons inside the city w : V

This is the question. I want to know how common it is. It was confirmed before the game release but for me it took over 80h played time and 40 lvl to see dragon inside the walls of Riften.

fought two inside whiterun.
ALOT in dawnstar and winterhold.
many outside riften near stables

Only inside Whiterun. Killed one there, and the skeleton stayed FOREVER.

2 in riften.... a LOT in winterhold.. i mean.. like everytime i go there comes a dragon.... whole town is dead

winterhold is only a ghost town.

whiterun seems to be completely protected from dragons for me.

Ive had multiple, and my character is level 32. One inside of Whiterun, Dawnstar and Falkreth

While not technically in the 'walls of a city' it was within walls. I was walking between classrooms in the college and it landed in the courtyard. Of course that was the one time Savos Aren was not standing outside, I would have loved to see what sort of crazy spells he would throw out against a dragon. The skeleton is laying on top of the big blue glowing pool.

The conjuration teacher walked out right after I killed it. No one harmed, thankfully.

I had one attack the college in winterhold once. That's about as far as it goes for settlements being attacked in my game @ 75 hours in.

I have never encountered any dragon inside Walled Cities. I had a level 35 with 60 hours who had ten consecutive attacks on Riverwood, but the big cities were never assaulted. I started a new character, and I am level 26 at the moment; still no attacks within the walls. I was beginning to assume those places were safe. After reading this thread... I guess not.

im level 39 and it seems like every time i go to a city i have to fight at least one.
ive killed at least 3 in riverwood, at least 5 in dawnstar, 2 in winterhold, one in whiterun, mabey 3 in farkarth, and one in riften i believe

I fought one inside Markarth. It's skeleton was stinking so much badly i had cast it down the waterfalls with my Raise Zombie spell.

At 30 hours in, I've only fought one in Riften. For me, dragons usually spawn right after i leave a cave or something.

Poor winterhold for me. Nearly everyone has died yet everytime I return for something, another dragon has appeared. I'd say two or three have attacked the city itself and another two or three have attacked the college.

Windhelm got hit bad for a while. Everytime I arrived, an Elder dragon was not far behind. I started feeling bad so I just avoided the city.

Riften has been hit twice.

None in walled cities, but they've hit open ones. Morthal or Dawnstar, I forget, and villages and towns. They've attacked just outside cities. One wasn't 50 yards from Riften's front gate, maybe.

I've killed about 30-40 Dragons

2 were fought in Riverwood
1 was fought in Karthwasten
1 more was fought near the entrance of Windhelm, just next to the Stables.
1 was fought in the College of Winterhold

Fairly rare imo.

111 hours in, and not a single dragon attack inside of a walled city. Riverwood has gotten hit, and I took on out just outside the Riften gates, but nothing inside walled cities. Now I feel like I'm missing out.

I fought one in Falkreath, one in Morthdal and one in Riften. And the one in Riften was actually inside the city. It died right in the market place!

220 hours, single main city dragon encounter in college.

You're not missing out when you have to keep reloading a save cause the dragon kills a non-essential quest giver. I arrived in Riften for Madesi (sp?) to give him a mammoth tusk. As the city loaded, BOOM, ancient dragon on top of the blacksmith shop. One firebreath and Madesi died. I kept reloading trying to get the dragon's attention first but never had luck. I eventually had to go back another save and came into Riften from my house. I thought maybe that would keep the dragon from coming. But no, he still showed up. Luckily I was closer now and could hit him with an impact firebolt spell to stall him while the citizens fled.

You lucky one! I was able to kill my dragon at a perfect place but it disappeared when I visited in inn. These three picks shows the place where it died:

I hardly ever see dragons, unlike most people lol. I've seen 3 in the Reach near Markarth but not actually in the city.
