How many Dlc's can we expect?

Just saw the new dawnguard trailer, and it looks epic. But this question just popped in my mind.

I think they said less than Fallout 3 but more content per pack.

At least two, probably three considering Microsoft's deal covers the first two DLCs for Skyrim being exclusive to them for 30 days. Hopefully more than that though.

At least two, probably three
This. And possibly some smaller add-ons, like the Texture Pack.

Pretty sure Bethesda said two or three decent sized expansions, they said they wanted them to be more proper expansions instead if pint sized DLCs.

WHAT!?

9000!???????

But no, 1 or 2 hopefully. I'm hoping 'Expansion' not just some house or quest or item. Can't tell how Dawnguard is but hope its roughly same size as SI.

Likely 3, though maybe 4 if they're VERY well-received.

My money is on two, not because of legal things with Microsoft but simply because there have reliably been two add-ons for the past two TES games.
Morrowind had Tribunal and Bloodmoon
Oblivion had Shivering Isles and whatever that pilgrimage thing was.

I haven't been on here for a few months, but I remember 3 being talked about by Bethesda.

FO3 got 5 DLCs, FO:NV got 4 DLCs, Oblivion got 1.5 expansions (Knights of the Nine felt meh), Morrowind got 2 expansions.

They plan on making these bigger (expansion not DLC, I'd assume), so I'd expect 3?

Beth has said Xbox will have 30 day exclusivity for "the first two major expansions" So at the very least two DLC's. I'm expecting 4 or 5.

I am going to be very disappointed in Bethesda if they decide to take the Fallout 3/NV route and release 5-6, low-content DLC's. What makes the Elder Scrolls series great is that it actually has expansion packs that last for hours upon hours, rather than this micro-purchase crap that's designed to get more money for the developer and publisher over time.

Considering the sales figures, it should get at least one standalone expansion like FO3 did (I'm not saying it will happen, just wishful thinking).

Since they've sold something like ten million copies of Skyrim, I imagine they'll probably try and milk it a bit more than in the past. So I would be guessing at least three.

Three maybe four maybe even five if the sales and critical reception are very good.
Im personally hoping for

A Dwemer themed expansion.
A Dlc Involving Vivec and Lorkhan.
And a Thalmor Dlc.

I reckon 3-5 I mean c'mon it's taken 7.99 months to announce the first, and I'd hope they want to keep the game going with these expansions and offering things, up untill the next major title (fo4 please)
So i reckon 3 at least 5 at most!

Dwemer are dead. Vivec is dead (probably). Lorkhan is dead (sort of). Thalmor will be dead if they mess with Dovahkiin :gun:

Three large expansions (with an undetermined number of smaller add-ons, like the mounted combat update I imagine) was the number they gave a while back.
