How many hrs have you put in so far and with what results?

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 2:24 pm

I love this game sooooo much.I have put in a moderate 207 hrs of game play in and iam only 32% complete.
I never want it to finish so iam doing all the small bits of the game, levelling up,crafting, searching and iam lovin every min of it.
Iam lvl 65,have a bow that does 617 damage and armour of 1880 and i havnt really touched the surface of the main quest line.
Playing it at the most difficult level setting but i want at least 1000 hrs game play time before i get to complete it all.

92 hours, according to Steam.
Level 48
Stopped playing because I knew 1.2 was going to be broken (PC player, so I had heads up)
Haven't felt the itch to play since about 2 days after they broke the game.

200 odd hours, one character, level 50, best sword does less than 80 damage, still die if I don't cast healing spells at the right time. Result : even with no intention of doing the Companions, Thieves' and Dark Brotherhood, still got 200 hours to go on this character, with most of the MQ and the College still left. Them's the joys of not using map fast travel.

200+ hours on my first character and over 40 on my second... First character is leader of the Thieves Guild and Listener for the Dark Brotherhood reached level 81 and learned nearly every spell in the game, though she only uses a few... She's married and nearly at the end of the main quest, halfway through the Companions storyline and Partway into the College of Winterhold questline, started the Civil War quests which are bugged and thus preventing her from actually continuing due to my RP for her that she won't do a ceasefire for the Civil War to stop Alduin, she will finish the Civil War first and then kill Alduin and finish out the other quests...

Finished the Dark Brotherhood questline having only gained a bounty in a single quest and that's one that you can't get away without a bounty anyway...
Spoiler
The one where you kill the fake emperor

I've done quite a few side quests and have massive nonexploited damage on my swords, daggers and bow along with well over the armor level cap with full Dragonscale Armor (1025 to be exact)... I've done about 1/3rd of the Daedric Quests and run around with Wabbajack for wreaking havoc when and where I please just for the sheer entertainment value of it...

I've gotten 3 houses so far and only need the Windhelm and Markarth houses to have them all along with the Archmage's Quarters... Killed over 50 dragons easily and figured out how to one shot (legitimately with no exploiting of crafting loops like everyone talks about) Ancient Dragons on master difficulty... Loving every minute of it...

Joined the Imperial Legion to make sure that Skyrim stands a chance in the coming conflict with the Aldmeri Dominion...

My other character is about lvl 30 now, she's a Thalmor Mage, so she's joined the Stormcloaks to make sure that the Aldmeri Dominion will win in the coming war... Joined the College of Winterhold but that was mostly for access to spells... She's a spy and a mage with a penchant for wreaking havoc for fun... Things like Frenzy spells and conjuring Atronachs into the middle of a room from a dark corner while I stay hidden until the last possible moment... Also rune spells right under people's feet to watch them blow up for fun... She's cruel and sadistic and I think I may almost love it more than my first character which is my generally preferred playstyle (thiefe/assassin with magic to support these roles)...

50+ for my first char, 30 for my main char. 5-13 for my 3 other chars. Plus all the countless hours I spent fooling around with console commands and mods on the PC version. I'd say I probably played for 200+ hours.

A little over 200 hours I think, so far.

I have:
A level 39 Dunmer Destruction Mage, done MQ, Civil War and College of Winterhold lines.
A level 29 Nord Paladin style thing. Done... urm... not much in the way of quests, has done the Peryite and Meridia quests though.
A level 38 Nord Assassin, done DB, Thieves and started Companions.
A level 24 Altmer EverythingMage (All schools), done College of Winterhold, that's it really.
And my current favourite, a level 21 Redguard Thief, not really got anywhere with the proper quest lines yet.

16 hours up to last night then i decieded my character wasnt satisfactory so i reloaded his lvl 1 save in gurdurs house and started again.

this time Master Difficulty from the get-go, no stats going into HP they wil mainly be Magicka so i can use fury/frenzy etc from illusion then dispose of the ones left with a bow, will not be using any melee weapons. along with a dash of frost rune traps and sneaking stealing there weapons and placing poisions in there pockets.

stage 4 vamp with calm spells to sell/get quests.

setting myself up for a challenge!!

so far 2hours in and i have cleared Bleak Falls Barrow and tonight i will head back to Riverwood to hand back the claw and recieve my payment then off to the first Dragon slaying....1 hit from fire breth and i will be dead as a dodo.

the build was inspired by the topic below and i am loving it, each room is like a puzzle (like soltaro says in his explanation) it took me 1hour to clear bleak falls....mind you 20mins of that was figuring out which setting put the NPC's on full length view (actor fade < stupid option name!! lol ''draw disence'' is what i was looking for! )

Around 270 hours, level 37, one character (sneaky light armor archer, with knowledge in lockpicking and speech, completely ignorant of all other skills such as crafting, magic, etc.). Companion member, serving the Empire and helping the people of Skyrim.

Still doing the main quest without hurries while doing lots of side quests, and some of the guild quests, but with not intentions at all of "ending" the game, meaning I don't care about what level I reach. I just focus on having fun enjoying the world as a whole (people, environments, etc.)

Almost 200 hours as one character and have enjoyed it immensly and done almost everything I can with one player and rp (no joining DB or TG) - I've stopped playing though as the Jorrvaskar bug has hit me, and I'm worried the rest of the game will start collapsing - so waiting for the CK to come out and people figure out what can be done with the CTD problem.

346 Total hours in, spread amongst three different characters. My main character has roughly 2/3rds of the total time in. He's completed the MQ, is Harbringer of the Compainions and has just about finished all the miscellenous quests in all nine Holds.... and there's still much that's left undone.

I've lost track of the amount of hours but it's over 300 with like half a dozen characters. I haven't really had any problems so far when playing and I love the game.

63 hours into the game. I think I restarted the game 5-6 times before I was satisfied with how my char turned out, so I think I've got about 50 hours played on my "main char":

Nord female warrior, focusing on one-hand, block and heavy armor. Never touches any spells except for the Healing spell after battles (uses potions in battle). Have been doing a lot of mining/blacksmithing as I found it fun to do, but now I'm laying off it as I see what kind of demi-god the armor turns me into :(

She just completed the Companions questline, and is about to go to the Winterhold College to find the location of the Elder Scroll for the main quest line, but I think she'll head to Riften first to do a bunch of quests there and buy herself a third house. She's currently using her home in Whiterun as her main base, and her husband Argis the Bulwark resides there when he's not accompanying her in her travels. Lydia also lives there. Am trying to lay off the fast travelling button and roleplay some more, but it's kinda hard when most of the NPCs are lacking depth (did love Kodlak's journal though, wish they had more stuff like that in the game to flesh out the NPCs some more). She has yet to choose sides between the Stormcloaks and the Imperials, as none of the sides seem like the "good side". Being a Nord she does like the Stormcloaks, but she dislikes their racism and prefer law and order over chaos and rebellion, so she might join the Imperial side in the end.

145 hours here, and have literally just scratched the surface of what I'm going to do with this build. Level 55, plan on going to level 81. Refining my spec as I go along, learning more every day. Doing all favors, misc quests, questlines, etc..I've got so much stuff to do it's mind boggling. Having a complete BLAST..I love the game and freedom it gives you.

497 hours using many characters & different playthroughs, The result of this is that the wife hates me & the kids cannot stand to call me "Dad" anymore after i spent an ungodly amount of time stuck in front of my PC monitor playing Skyrim.

155 hours total, across three characters. I just rambled around and did a lot of dungeon diving on the first two characters. Character number three recently finished the main quest and the civil war.

400 hours spent over about five characters. It went something like this ...

1) I tried to make my basic TES tank/mage omni-character. Once I got used to magic and weapons, I decided it would be more fun with a thief. Deleted this guy in his 30s.
2) Made a thief. I used him to finish the main quest and a few guilds. But I decided I wanted to try a 2H Nord like the game suggests. (This guy is sitting around lvl 55)
3) 2H Nord. My goal was to finish the civil war quest line. I was a stormcloak, but when it finished I really hated Ulfric. So I decided to test out magic and play the other side of the civil war. (This guy is 53 or so)
4) Mage. I used the console and cheated with a lot of stuff on this one. I just wanted to see how the game was different. Fun for a while, but then I got bored around level 50.
5) 2H Redguard. This time I'm playing on expert with the UI off. Well, mostly off. Some of the fights were rough, so I'd turn it on for a while. Currently around level 50 or so.

Quest completions ...

Main quest - 1
Civil war - 3
Mages guild - 3
Companions - 2
Thieves guild - 1
Dark Brotherhood - 1

I've done a TON of other quests. But I still think I've only seen about 60 percent of the game.

Wow! Compared to some of you guys, I feel like I haven't even started yet ;) . I'm about 18 hours in with a lvl 14 imperial battle mage (heavy armor, 1h melee, spells). Still learning the ropes.

About 170 or so I'd bet. Three saved characters. The Argonian sneaky type is through DB, Thieves Guild and, accidentally because it was so short, the College MQs. He's also the Dragonslayer and has done many misc quests and most of the Daedric quests as well, I believe. He's something like 120 hours in.

My Nord is a warrior. I will do Stormcloaks, Companions and main quest with him. Maybe 20 hours in with him.

I also have a High Elven pure mage character who's slowly doing everything related to the College. He'll later become a full time necromancer, possibly an outlaw. I'm going through all the Daedric Quests with him as well. Do you know if the Daedric Artifacts scale with PC's level? If they don't, I could start doing Daedrics right away. (Also I think he'll find out he's related to Camorans. Will become a Mythic Dawn/Mehrunes fanatic.) 30-ish hours clocked with him so far; currently playing him most actively.
