How many Khajiit?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 5:41 pm

I love Khajiit's and I know, lore-wise, it makes sense that there aren't many in Skyrim. But apart from the trading caravans, how many Khajiit are there? I'm mentally going through every city I can and there are just so little Khajiit it's unbelievable!

Oh and do Khajiit call eachother "kinsman" or is it something different like... cat brother or something? :P

Three, if not counting the caravaners. J'zargo at College, a female khajiit cook in the Thalmor embassy, and another female at Riften during certain quest. And males randomly as bandits. Some dead ones are found at few places too.

And IIRC think they don't have any special name for player khajiit. In Oblivion they sometimes said "clan-mate".

There's one in the Solitude Lighthouse and another around Fort Greenwall.

khajiit aren't allowed in the cities, so good luck finding them there.

But he isn't a khajiit, he just looks like one

Forgot the Lighthouse keeper, but i don't remeber seeing any around Greenwall.

And for the billionth time, it's just the caravans.

There's a dead one that plays a funny part in one of the ten pieces of the treasure hunt ...

All alive NPC's not including Bandit's, there's a Total of 28, including the Daedric prince Mephala because apparently she's a Female Khajiit o.o

maybe there's 29. How dare you deceive me UESP!!

Edit : I cannot find this guy anywhere, there is absolutely nothing North of Fort Greenwall.

In fact elderscrolls wikia is the only source of him existing :|

In an attempt to avoid being spoily...

UESP lists 28 'named' khajiit. Eleven of those are caravaneers, some of them are hostile dungeon occupants, and a few are employed by the Thalmor (one way or another). Several only show up during a certain daedric quest (and don't live for very long once they do). The rest are individuals with various jobs (to use the term loosely) who are scattered around the province.

This does not include any generic bandits, wandering vendors, etc.

I like the fact that there aren't many as it adds to the lore of the land.

I like the fact that Bethesda deliberately added this little detail. Its little details like this that make TES lore interesting.

It doesn't stop people playing Khajiit. I have a khajiit characters as a stealth / light armored / dual bladesman after my main Nord warrior / heavy armored / axe / block.

I think the new Khajiit looks great
