Pretty new to these forums and modding, but not finding the CK too hard to learn thanks to the wiki and various tutorials, these forums, etc.
So I've been scheming in my mind a mod (or well, technically a series of mods) that will add essentially a sequel "main quest" that will occur after the main quest in Skyrim is completed. I feel that the main quest in Skyrim didn't really challenge the Dovakiin all that much - even Alduin himself felt like an easy fight. What I want is an enemy that feels like a real challenge, not necessarily through direct combat all the time, but also via how long and difficult a task it is to find a way to defeat him/her/it.
I've have a basic plot concept in my mind and my plan is to release it in stages of smaller mods initially that set the scene and start the storyline off. This allows me to learn the CK, release a (few) mod(s) so I learn the process etc. Instead of spending weeks/months on building it into a single mod only to either break it/corrupt it, get bored or fed up, or just for some reason not end up finishing it.
If you can't be bothered reading the above, START HERE!
Basically before I go crazy and plan out a long epic story (with no clue how to necessarily do half of it
) I would like to see how many people's main game ended in a place that would realistically be carried on by this. Bearing in mind this is intended/designed as a continuation of the Dovakiin's story, so it wouldn't fit any side characters where you roleplayed not being the Dragonborn, etc. Note if you haven't played all major storylines in the game, can't guarantee there won't be spoilers in this post/topic.So I was wondering essentially, on their main character/save file/original play through, how many people:
a) Collected all the Dragon Priest masks and/or restored the shrine.
Joined/became leader of one guild, more than one guild, or all of the guilds? Would be nice to see which guilds specifically too.c) Actually finished the main quest line and killed Alduin. (Just cause, you know, some people don't actually do so
)The above are signficant or crucial to the story currently in my head, but if hardly anyone has collected all the dragonpriest masks for example, obviously I'd need to work out something else. I realise these forums are a tiny sample of whos playing the game, but would still be interesting to see.
Many thanks to anyone who takes the time to reply!
