How many perk points is the limit for your character?

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:47 am

I counted the total of perks i want from my character (conjuration, destruction, one handed, enchanting, light armor and smithing (she might be a shaman, she is still an orc...and they usually learned smithing at young age) which is 67 perk points. (going to take a long time to do that though.)

Anyway, do i want to much perks or is this fine? What is the max amount of perks anyway?

I have yet to get a character up to level 50 before I retire them and start something new. So I generally pre-plan about 40 perks.

Level 68 is doable for sure, but you need to really like that character as you'll be playing them for a while.

You will be able to get 68 perks, but you will have to branch out into skills you won't normally use to get that many levels. I believe there are 80 perk points overall, as there are 81 levels and you start at level 1.

This character is my most favourite on this moment, so i am not really going to worry about that.
If it really becomes to much i can always focus on one sort of destruction magic (which will be lightning then), that would be 6 points less....i will find out then.

I could also put away the smithing perks and just train the easy but less cheap way and buy training.

I could train restoration, alteration, illusion, speech, and other skills that could come in handy.
But i won't put any perks in that.

But i am first gonna become atleast lvl 70 in the skills that i mentioned before i am going to train alot on skills like those.
