So how much did skyrim sell? I predicted 12 million total.

I was being called optimistic for guessing the game to sell 12 million copies total. Any way to find out what the current sale numbers are?

In total they earned 650 million $ on sales I think.
Maybe we can calculate something?

Whatever the numbers its to much, the game is to buggy, far from a quality product.

According to Wikipedia (as usual, trust at your own risk, but it does have it's sources listed) it had 10 million shipped to retailers as of December 16. So if it has sold 2 million more since then you'd be right on the money. Good guess btw.

With all the hype and hysteria one would expect it to sell heaps even if it is a average game.Marketing did it's job well i will give them that.

I would guess a lot, and rightly so IMO. I know it didn't work for a lot of people, but I'm sure it worked for a lot more. The amount of people stuff doesn't work for always seems to overshadow the amount of people it does, simply do to the fact the people it didn't work for are the ones (justifiably) complaining.

I think it was a great game, quest bugs aside and stuff like that aside.

Pretty much my answer to this thread and many others as well.

Then, might I ask, what is the point of even posting? Like mods you don't have to install, you could simply read the thread title and move on.

Because people don't care, but they have to inform you they don't care so everyone knows that they don't care.

Although in the end, do we really care?

281, 748 copies.

That's how many people are registered on these forums.

Well, that's only copies sold to retailers, not to customers. Assuming they all sold, that's only retail sales. And Steam does not divulge sales information. So only Valve and Bethesda really know.

Most people bought retail on console. So let's say 10 million console sales, 2 million PC retail sales, and another 6 million for Steam sales. (18 million so far, worldwide).
