About 30$ is not too far off I think. Maybe 25.

Also thank you for pointing out the obvious

Frankly, with how the business is heading you could expect anything from 20 to 40$. So I think that 30$ is about right, if you had read my last post you'd seen it.

If I HAD to guess I'd say $20, I don't think they'd go higher than that for console DLC. At least on Xbox, points come in $20 increments and most people aren't going to want to buy $40 in cards for a $30 add-on. If they're going to be more than $20, they'd better make 'em separate discs you can buy.

Shivering Isles was $30 when it came out, I'm expecting the same. But then again, SI was a massive expansion.

If the promise that they will be a bit larger than Fallout DLC I expect them to cost a bit more, say 25% more worst case.

I was talking to the poster going we don't know.

A educated guess would be evaluating what the cost of the DLCs were for Fallout which I do not know due to not playing it.

Of course I could search it up as well but asking for others input is never bad,

Okay, someone corect me if this is wrong but, I think Fallout 3 sold them 20$ a piece. But I think they'll get a bit more expensive this time around.
When Skyrim have sold this much, they can earn fortunes by raising the price by mere 10 bucks.

We don't know. We don't even know what the DLC will be at this point. Little things, like player homes or horse armor (ripoff) or big things, like Shivering Isles? Seriously. Doesn't anyone use Google, or god forbid, Bing? The DLC has not been announced yet. We have no information for you.

Like someone said, Shivering Isles was 30$ so one worth 40 would be...

SI was a massive expansion.

That's what they're planning on, so yes $30 is about right.

By the way, LOL @ your avatar.

If an expansion maybe 30$.
If just little DLC like fallout, maybe 10 - 15$.

keep in mind that the DLC isn't exactly going to be little there going to be on the scale a bit smaller then Expansions so expansions would be huge by my guess.

anyway on topic, im guessing 25 to 30 for a DLC and 30 to 40 for an Expansions

A educated guess would be nice.

Define "educated guess"...

Educated, learned\schooled knowledge, reached through gathering information and/or x amount of experiance.

Guess, an estimation based on no/limited knowledge/information

Quite contradictional? Indeed

The right answer is: we don't know. We don't know how big the expansion is (let's call this the X- factor) and since developers usually use ye ol' "bigger dlc=more money", the price (Z) also depends on how many hours of content there is (Y) this is what we can come up with:

X*Y=Z

You should save up Z money. Happy?

I hope what we get are great expansion packs not a punt sized DLC in saying that Todd said we would get expansions and I would say the price range would be between twenty and forty dollars that is a guess bit we having nothing concrete on an announcement let alone a price.

20 bucks would be the way to go considering how many problems PS3 users had, and the amount of glitches on both consoles and PC.

But 30 bucks is probably more realistic, just cuz they can get away with it, and still probably have close to the same # of sales.

It all boils down to money, I can't see them justifying going over 50% of the original cost of the game itself, then where not talking DLC where talking another Disc. I want to be able to Download w/e content comes out, they better not make me waste gas to go buy a disc ;x

Hell, you can buy the game for $50.... if it were $40 it better be a big damn expansion.

I know, I am hoping for a massive addition to the game.
I just tossed out two price points and in between that, I just hope there is no pinky pinching rip off DLC such as horse armor.

I think it will around 50 - 60. They did mention they will "pack alot of meat" .. so that must mean it will be bigger than Shivering Isles. So it would be like another full game as DLC.
