I have been playing brink for the past 6 hours with some of my friends and we are yet to be very succesful in playing together. One of us will go into a room, one or two may be able to follow if they are lucky and then its full and we have to try again. The only time we can ever get into the same room is when we make ultra selective so that it makes a room for us. Then we get placed on opposite teams and noone ever joins. I dont know if I am missing something, but that was just with a group of 4 and 5. I cant imagine how hard it will be with 8. Dont get me wrong, the game is great. I love playing it, I just dont understand why they would make it so hard to play with your friends.

I understand the fireteam idea, but you cant get into a fireteam unless they make it into the match. Which doesnt happen. If I am missing something, please let me know so we can stop getting frustrated. The drop in/drop out feature only works if your friends can fit into a room. or if the game knows that you need space for X number of people. Which is why lobbies/parties have been used in the past.

Like I said, if there is a way that I have overlooked, please tell me.

Wow is this really an issue? I have not recieved my pre-orde yet and if this is really becoming a problem this is a huge deal. If we cannot get a group into the same match without being split up this is possible a game breaker.

judging from the number of posts popping up on the forums id say it is a real issue, and a potential deal breaker for alot of people. I cant fathom how they would try to push the "play as a team" gimmick so hard and completely drop the ball on something like this. im getting a little worried.

Beginning to dread the LAN Party 8-12 of us have set up for Friday. Hope a lot of this is worked out by then.

Yup, the group that I normally play with is all returning their copies/not buying it. One guy opened his this morning as soon as he got home with it and regrets not being able to do a return.

So can anyone confirm to me that there's absolutely no way to assure that you play with and on the same team as your friends? I mean, I'm literally in shock. How could you not have a Party system in a multiplayer based game?

Host a room invite your friends? It will be like R6V2 days again.

this is unbelievable. this game is really turning into a huge letdown.

unfortunately it is ..i have been excited about this game for a year preordered it last may..it got pushed back 4 times for a total of 5 months and it still is partly broken
