This game has frozen my xbox several times, I installed it to my hardrive and it still messes up. Its really frustrating that after all the time i've spent in it it all just gets corrupted and I just have to start a new game, I'm at the point of just quitting the game, its not that much fun anymore..

You could try clearing the 360 system cache:

It may help.
