how to test shouts?

hey guys
i just created a new shout, BUT i can't test it. the shout is called vampire speed so i went in game typed "help vampire 0" got the ID of the shout and went for player.teachword ID. this didn't work so i tried it with addshout ID. this also didn't work. how can i test a new shout ingame? can anybody help me please.

I find that console commands work inconsistently for testing modded things. I would try just adding the shout to your player in the CK, or alternatively create an NPC that teaches it to you through scripts.

What about creating a word of power wall like the the shouts you learn in the game, it's very easy to do, and it shouldn't take very long to create at all.

You could create an activator in a test cell that gives you the shout.
