I've finally decided to take the leap and move to PC gaming (been using consoles most of my life). Sadly, my computer knowledge is pretty non-existent. Oh yes, I can USE one just fine, but I've got no clue on the lingo or hardware stuff. My computer is a Hp Pavilion p6674y (Can't post links, but I can copy and paste specs if someone can tell me what I need to post!), and I kinda doubt that's going to cut it for a game like Skyrim, ESPECIALLY if I want to download some good texture mods! I'm willing to fork over cash to get the poor thing up to speed, but I'm honestly not quite sure WHAT to get. Let's say, hypothetically, I have $300 to use to upgrade my hardware: What exactly would be my best options for getting this baby to run Skyrim WELL, and not, you know, EXPLODE or something? Appreciate any advice folks can offer!
