Wow sorry, didn't look at how awful that "tutorial" was. I'll do a bit more research, I'm interested myself.

Okay the problem is : I create a map in photoshop and after that I save it as .raw Then I open the TESAnnwyn and add this line TESAnnwyn.exe -i Skyrim -p 1 -b 16 -d 4096x4096 -x -64 -y -64 -h -22192 -w NameOfWorldspace YourImage.raw . My image is 4096x4096. I click enter in CommandPrompt and it convert it. After that there is a esp but if I open the esp there is no map. What am I doing wrong ? Please help !

Also another question what do I enter instead of NameOfWorldspace and in YourImage.raw ?

Nameoftheworldspace: is the name that you see in ck and in game for your world.
Example in game: tamriel, riften.... Can be what you want.
Yourimage: is the name of the file you have generated with photoshop.

What do you mean that there is no map?
Had you tried the esp in game?

Yes I have tried in game. No where to be found. Also I checked in CK and there is no world.

I don't know what am I doing wrong. Thanks. It seams I was filling the right things instead of NameOfWorldspace and YourImage.raw so this is not the problem. I will be really thankful if you can create a map and send it to me so I can see how it should look like (I mean converted with TESAnnwyn)

Thank you for helping me !!

Edit : Here is the .raw file that I am trying to convert to esp http://www.2shared.com/file/YaDjhFLX/NewWorld.html . If you could convert it to esp with the TESAnnwyn I will be really thankful !!

I tried but I don't think you made your RAW properly. First off, it's only 512kb? The RAW for my worldspace (1/4 the size) was almost 50mb. Also, when I generated with your file, it just makes a world that's bumpy like a corregated metal roof. Are you sure you're making the RAW properly?

I am not sure how to make one. First I don't know how to create my map in Photoshop. I am making the map with Filter / Render / Difference Clouds

I was wondering if you could send me a map that you created (I mean the raw file) ?\

I will PM you.

Thank you !

There has to be documentation somewhere... I'm don't know of any, though. I just got help when learning it directly from the Elthatron himself. What do you need help with? It's a very straightforwards process.

Preview tab just shows you a preview. For generator tab, set the detail to 256000, or 1000/1000 (Default Skyrim level). Then make sure to check Meshes, Normals and Colors. Make the meshes in Nif, and the color/normals in DDS only. (Uncheck png) Select the resolution you want for normals and colors, I do 1024x1024 only for both. Then click generate. Once it's done, check all of the boxes and click Install. Then you can delete the stuff where it generated it (I do it to my desktop) and you're good to go on land/water lod.

It's like the 5th option down on the Generation page. It's a tab that you click to expand then select your option. It has a bunch of numbers like 32000, 64000, 128000, all the way up to like 2 million. I do 256000 because it errors if I go higher and it looks fine ingame.

And, yes, dds is the standard DirectX texture format.

I make it generate to my desktop, then once it's done you check all the options in the Install tab and click Install. That copies them into your data directory. Then you can delete all the files it made on your desktop (Or wherever you pick) and you're done.

So there is no difference if y]I would put the generated files from my desktop to the data or just click install ?

Also Oscape is for what specifically ?

Well, you'd have to figure out the structure and where they all go, but it's far easier to just click Install and it sets that all up for you. (As it doesn't generate them in the right file structure)

Oscape generates LOD for land and water. You'll still need Object and Tree LOD which can both be done with the CK itself. (Well, sort of. There are some issues with that, but nothing too rediculous)
