How to wall run?

Is there a way as a light body type to wall run? Every time I try I either bounce off the wall too soon or slide down like a cat on a curtain. A tutorial would be much appreciated.

It's about timing and control. You can jump from the wall at any point while you're sliding. Use your movement controls in the direction you want to go, then press the jump button, you'll leap off in the direction you're trying to move - as long as it's relatively close to an appropriate angle of reflection based on how you hit the wall. If you're pushing in a direction that doesn't fit with how you hit the wall, you'll either bounce straight up, or on the closest angle to where you're trying to go.

Pretty much, you just need to practise until you can do it the way you want to - and remembe you can stay closer to the wall if you jump at if on a sharper angle - but doing so is much harder to land the slide to start with.

From what I understood he didnt want to jump off the wall, but run "on it". I believe the character will do a short wall run (probably what you see as sliding down), there's no Matrix kinda wall running here :D

i wall run all the time lokk where you want to the press into the wall you want to run on holding SMART down(this only gives you about 3- 4 steps then you jump to make the gap i use this on container city, ship yard and some other ones i cant think of now wall running is key to getting into sniping spots(light body type) ive found a couple where not even bots on hard have even looked at me( perry sweet swaped to a sniper and racked up head shots coga all the way)

Nope. I don't think so, I've never been able to do a wallrun. The only thing that I'm fairly sure that you're able to do is a walljump only, and that's if you're light. I think you're mixing this up with Mirror's Edge, or I'm missing out on some awesome stuff.

Alright, thanks guys. I had an idea that wall run was only a brief thing, but I want to try some tricks with it anyways. Thanks again.
