How I wish I could move to Falkreath!

Post » Sun Jun 24, 2012 8:07 pm

Falkreath is by far the best looking town. I really like the surroundings. I wish I could move there... Maybe one day... Anyone else wish they could move to a hold that dosen't have a home to buy?

Just break into someone's house. Kill them. Replace all their stuff with your own. There you go. You have a house in Falkreath!

That sounds good at first, until you loose everything you have stored when the cell resets.

That'll be a big fail.

I'd love to be able to move into Morthal. I mean, you can be a Thane there, but not own a house...

I just don't understand it.

I quite liked Morthal the first time I visited there, maybe in a DLC set in the future, say a year or two later, so you could have a rebuilt helgen, and you could live in that house that burn't down in Morthal, which would now be rebuilt!

well, we are on the PC, at least most of us here at the forums, adding an extra house using a mod shouldn't be too hard.

Are there no mods that make it possible to move into Falkreath?

Look in the cellar in Anise's cabin. Having done so, bear in mind that it is a non-respawning location. Thank me later :)

Morthal and Falkreath are my favourite cities and I would really like to be able to buy a house in both of them, but I still prefer the idea of making my home far from any city in the middle of the forest :)

Wasn't there something in "Game Jam" that allowed you to move your house where you wanted? That would solve any problems on the desire where to live. Maybe that feature will be in the rumored "Hearthfire" DLC or whatever DLC comes next. Why not? Vampire Lords, Crossbow and a few others are in Dawnguard and that was from Game Jam.

One could just as easily make a home in the CK and just add it to the town. Most abode mods are to the liking of the mod author and you will be very hard challenged to find one of them that actually gives the "Well Rested" perk.

I would rather make my own. However if I find a home mod I like the looks of. I download it and open it in the CK, change it up and add what I want.

Either way, It would be better than squatting on a property that will reset your storage. Besides, If it doesn't have all the crafting stations and a WR perk...I don't want it.

My house is in Solitude, even though I'm a Stormcloak at heart, its just that, Proudspire manor is the fanciest home in the game, and windhelm is just depressing.
