Mexico-Tijuana, Rosarito
Canada- Winnipeg
Us-Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, Redding, San Fransisco, Modesto, Fresno, Los Angeles, San Diego, Ph...... I'm with Old Andy on this one. Theres a whole lotta cities in the US I've been to.. not necessarily sure wheich ones have had more than 500K though, and would be a whole lot of research to do so.

Dear lord.., I don't ask often, and you've had my back in the past.. thanks for that, btw..

So.., here's another one, and I know I said last time I'd wait at least a decade, but the thing is, I need a favor.

Pweeeeese, let Falchya's friend be as boring as watching-the-grass-grow, or unavailable in some other non-threatening fashion.

yours truly, me.

Well, the thing is, if he's too unavailable (read: out of town for work) I won't be going. Don't know his schedule for next month yet, so it's still a 'maybe'. But assuming he is at home, I'm sure he could be convinced to be "unavailable" for a while. ;)

Hrm...I've been to a lot of places. I'm too lazy to look up populations, though. Almost all of the major U.S. cities, and plenty in Mexico, Europe, and Japan. Mostly for fun, but some for business.

Great! I'll show you around.. introduce you to a bunch of shady characters, and then tell you not to believe a word they say about me. It'll be fun!

Neither do Tulsa Oklahoma or Des Moines Iowa unless you count the metro area :P

Neither does Sacramento (its a little under 500,000), but its the capital of California and has 2,000,000 in the metro area. Arbitrary city limits don't reflect the true size of the "city". Metro area does. Oakland is under 500,000 and could be lumped in with "The Bay Area" along with San Francisco. Long Beach is under 500,000 and could be lumped in with Los Angeles, but to me they're large enough and important enough in their own right to count. Omaha is just over 400K as well within its city limits and so is Liverpool, England. Basically half my list is crap if you want to split hairs.

Well I don't travel much. I've been all around here, Milwuakee, Chicago, Las Vegas, that's about it for big cities. Been to Colorado once as well. Other than that, I stay mostly inside, but I travel around my state a couple times throughout the year (2+ hours away from my house)

Welcome, forum-ers. Let's have a 'contest.' Which countries and large-cities have you been to? Let's say a "large" city has roughly 500,000 people. ;)

The most well traveled forum-er wins this cookie. :cookie: The least traveled wins. . . .. Well that's TBD.

Attrebus will win :P

Anyway, large cities I've been to (unless I'm forgetting something :P).
Sweden: Stockholm, G?teborg
Norway: Oslo
Finland: Helsinki
Denmark: Copenhagen
Germany: Hamburg
Great Britain: London
France: Paris
Spain: Barcelona
Italy: Venice
Czech Republic: Prague
Turkey: Antalya
Tunisia: Tunis
United Arab Emirates: Dubai
USA: New York, Orlando, Miami

I moved around when I was younger. Did some traveling as well. I can't list most of the cities since I don't actually remember, so I won't bother.

Places I've been:
Born in India
Pakistan
China
England
France
Germany
Switzerland
Netherlands
Italy
Denmark
U.S.A
Canada
Mexico
Australia
Japan
South Africa
aannddd...Russia :)

Sounds exciting, cept I don't actually remember a lot of it.

been to victoria canada. but the most populated city I ever been to was portland oregon, and I hated it so, so , so... (it goes on) so much. the angriest place I had ever been in my life.

and yes, I have the symptems of agoraphobia. I can stand being around large amounts of people, at all.
