How do you create warpaints?

Post » Thu Jun 21, 2012 5:22 am

If there is already a topic regarding this, please link me to it. I apologize if this is a duplicate-- It's just, I've quite literally been looking for two days now, and I STILL haven't been able to find a single tutorial explaining how to create warpaints with the creation kit.

The warpaints that are there are fine and all, but I have some specific designs of my own I'd like to see on my character, and also that I'd like to share with others, but I have no clue how to go about creating warpaints and packing them into a .eps or .esm.

So, with that said, does anyone know how, and would they be willing to impart knowledge regarding it? I'd appreciate it very much!

They are part of the face and are shaders that you color (Or leave as 'invisible), which makes me think that they may be hardcoded. (Because of where in the CK they are) This has been discussed some, but I don't remember what conclusion people arrive at. :/

They are not hardcoded, we can create new ones. It just means you have to edit the particular race to do it (Which means... CONFLICT!). Although I'm not really positive as to whether they persist through saves (I think they do?) I've added my own warpaint before and patched it with my slider mod it seemed to be okay... I heard there were issues with them when exceeding a certain resolution though.
