How do you get NPC's to use items you've placed in thier inv

OR

More specifically I liked the idea brought up in another thread of placing poisons on NPC's via Reverse Pickpocketing.

So, I went to Whiterun and found Nazeem and decided to put a potion of Frenzy on him. I then took his Mead and ale and grilled leek thinking he'd consume the frenzy and be killed by guards and possibly his wife. But no, I was disappointed with the fact for hours he just walked around Whiterun and never consumed the potion.

Am I missing something?

There's a perk in pickpocket that does that. That's what the person was talking about.

Damn, I haven't put enough perks in the pickpocket tree yet. Thanks.

Wow, that was unhelpful. Go troll someplace else. I hear EA's forums are perfect for you.

It has some pretty neat abilities. Pickpocket an enemies equipment, and then just butcher them with your fists. Stick a frenzy poison in their pants and slink away as they start whupping some tail. etc.

I'm gonna start concentrating on the pickpocket tree now. Thanks; totally explains why nazeem hasn't killed himself yet. Well, at least now I have reason to pilfer his keys and go ransack his home and farm until I put more perks into my pickpocketing.
