Usually with Rangers I focus on light armor, sneak, archery, one-handed & illusion.
The archery, sneak, & light armor should be self explanatory. The one-handed's because DnD Rangers are all about dual wielding, & Illusion's for calming animals mostly.

Rogues, I usually build around lockpicking, speech, pickpocket, sneak, & one-handed.
Because, well those're the Thief-iest skills. Build 'em for heavy sneak attack bonuses, like DnD Rogues, & then focus on non-combat skills.

I forgot to mention that both of those usually dabble in alchemy to some degree.

Basically everything said above for Rangers, except instead of dual-wielding I just use one sword as a back up, relying more perk-wise on the bow.

Rogues I really more on speech, light armor and one-handed, and do my dual-weilding with that class. I also put points into pickpocket and/or lockpick, as I kind of see rogues as thieves, but not straight up thieves, if you know what I mean. Mostly combat, but with heavy social stealth influences.

Remember that right now (unless 1.6 fixed it) daggers don't get the 1h bonus even though they level up 1h.

So if yougo sneak w/ daggers, skip the 1h stuff. But a good post was made about maces being the highest damage sneak weapons in the game if you get the skills.

I think it looks like a pretty good build.
Though, you might spring for Muffled Movement under the sneak tree.

Or wear the nightingale boots.

Oh and I have never gone that far up in alchemy. Little to no reason for the higher end perks in my eyes (as there are TONS of herb sellers and gold is plenteous).

Yeah, that's true. I always forget about them, because I hate the nightingale armor, but they do have the highest muffle rating in the game.
Like I think 35 points of muffle? Which is weird because 2 points of muffle is more than enough to silence all noise you can make.

As I am playing a devotee of myself, I rely a lot on stealth and shadow. Not a whole lot of spells in the arsenal, just some key ones - particularly in Conjuration so I'll always have a tool for the job and near-automatic enchantment recharging. My primary focus is the Stealth tree, and I'm working on lockpicking because mortals are so inferior at getting into secret spots.

Lots of Archery and One-Handed skills as well.
