Playing in hardcoe mode, I know you have to use a doctors bag or see a doc for crippled limbs, but is there no other way to heal a NON crippled limb? One t hat is simply damaged some? I've tried sleeping, eating, etc and nothing.

There's a drug called Hydra. You could try that. It had some limb healing I think.

Are you not allowed to use stimpacks on your limbs in hardcoe?

If you have 75 Survival skill, you can make a chem called Hydra. It restores limb condition over time, but it sounds like the ingredients will be hard to get. Here's a list of the ingredients you'll need to make it.

Night Stalker Blood x3
Radscorpion Poison Gland x2

Stimpaks do not heal limbs, neither does resting in a rented or your own bed. Your only way to heal your limbs is either a doctors bag or you can hobble down to the nearest healer - as well as very rare but useful hydra. Off the top of my head there is a Doctor that goes around but I do not know her trade route. You can borrow a Hydra in someones bath tub in a particular hotel with a dinosaur, I wonder where that is!
