My mage (Circea) loves using Lydia to tank for her, while she summons Atronachs and also pulverizing them with massive spells. Bright loud and flashy.

My assassin (Illucia) prefers silent calculated sniper kills from long distance although she wouldn't mind going up close sometimes to slit their throats.

I try my best to do standing power attacks to activate the decapitate kill cam... Always makes me smile.

Yet nothing satisfies my more than landing a bandit of his neck, or punching him to death....

But torturing them isn't a waste of time
I try my best to finish em off with an execution style death, either cut their heads off, bring their life down to the point that they take a knee then finish em off with a little staby,staby. My favorite finisher though is where you stab up through the jaw, or in the side of the head I always try to make the fights as bloody and messy as possible( too bad no mods on console, I want that mod that enables a bleed animation on NPC's that you kill and watch em bleed like a stuck pig )

when i have the chance i experiment with the wierd things i have (like the wabbajack), too bad so many spell effects are gone,, i could do so much more in oblivion (like make a sword that sent out a red wave)

It depends on my character, some will die swiftly and efficiently by my blade, others are tortured via paralysis and slow burning/freezing.
