dailogue bog should come up and say would you like to download this? yes? no?

Just have to hook your system up to xbox live it'll give the option to do it automatically

step 1: plug your ethernet cord into your xbox (or connect wirelessly if you have a new xbox slim)
step 2: turn the xbox on
step 3: put skyrim in the xbox and start playing
step 4: the patch will download immediately if there is one available
notice that you don't need a gold membership to do this, just be connected to xbox live with a silver membership (free)
