How do you play Black Jack or 21?

How do you play Black Jack or 21 in New Vegas? I know how the rules go, I mean when I play, I get one card, so when I hit, then I get 2 cards and most times I bust. So I am assuming I am glitching because I should be seeing 2 cards not just one.

I thought maybe I am missing something so it's not a glitch. I am playing on the 360. So how is Blackjack suppose to work? Do you see one card or are you suppose to see 2 cards when you play first?

You should get two cards first automatically, and after that one card at a time.

Have A hight Luck will mkae sure you allways win.

In Fallout BlackJack does not go like in real life, luck usually plays a huge role in the card game.

My luck is 1. I know I will expect to loose alot in the casinos, one of the reasons why I choose a low luck so not to make easy caps.

As I said, I only see one card, I thought maybe this was the way Fallout Vegas worked. So this is a glitch then when I only see one card eh?

Don't bother, with a luck of 1 gambling can only cost you money.

I believe whats happening is because of your low luck the house keeps getting 21 and winning automatically.

Is there any clothes or what not that increases luck? Not sure if I can get an implant for it. I didn't find gambling much fun anyway. Another reason I got luck 1 is so if I have any companions, they are not built as tanks either (since I am on "hard core") so I am more carefull when I go into combat as well.

So can we even increase the luck stat at all? So far I have seen End, Strength, Agi Boosts but that is it so far.

i'm pretty sure Charisma affects your companions more than luck does, i'm not sure if your luck does anything for them?

By getting to Liked with the legion you get access to there safehouse and the lucky shades +1 Luck
At Mick and Ralphs you can find the naughter nightware which is +1 Luck
Lastly there is an implant for +1 Luck

But really by starting with a luck of 1 you've blown any chance at gambling sucessfully, and possibily hindered your own combat abilities by limited your criticals but that can vary by build.
