How do you remove the elder scroll from your backpack?

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 7:41 am

It weighs 20 and that is taking up A LOT of weight. When I remove it it says that I cannot take it out because it's a quest item even though I'm done with the story quests.

It actually weighs nothing. Quest items don't weigh anything. And you can't remove quest items.

Quest items say they weigh. They're lying to you.

Think of the Elder Scroll as an additional difficulty level. Next time you go against a boss, whip out the scroll and try to survive.

Talk to the Orc (dunno his name) in the College of Winterhold's library. You can offer it to him, in which he buys it for 2,000 gold.
