I was hoping to be able to kill her too. I'm a Vampire Hunter, dammit. Stop forcing me to work with one.

For the same reason you can't kill any other permanently immortal npc. Bethesda didn't feel like coding/writing alternate ways to finish quests along with alternate outcomes, and god forbid they allow you to actually fail one permanently.

I can't tell if you're serious, but they've had choices before.

What people are going on about is more to do with how Beth. has dumped us at the end.

Is Serana essential to the game after you complete Dawnguard? I don't think she is, so why not give you the option kill her off and play the game the way you see fit.

Personally I loved Serana's character and my character has been wanting to marry her almost from the begining. Is it a problem for Beth. or the game for that matter if people can marry her, again I don't think so. So what's the problem with letting me play the game the way I want.

At the end of the day we play these games for our own entetainment we pay our money and expect to have a good time playing them, if they start to annoy us then we dump them and play something else.

Of course Beth. could be planning to make her an essential part in future DLC's - In which case you'll be seeing more of her.

Enjoy that thought!

I understand you would want to marry her and so do other 1bilion people the thing is i dont mind whatsoever what really gets tome is the fact that every time i get on the Forums their is a [censored] new thread about people whining that why can't they marry serana. Frankly its quite annoying, i bet you that i you search serana in the forums you will find a million threads on the subject why in God's name would you make a new one complaining about the same [censored] over and over again. I wish people would understand this and just start a new thread and then give that thread continuity instead of a making a new one.

I wish I had the choice of killing her or letting her live, she still a vampire which means she still need to drink blood does ( she does not want to become human when I ask her :P) I know my vampire hunter would not let her live.

You DO get the option to turn her back to being Human.

Also, what's wrong with drinking blood as a Vampire? YOU need to eat to survive too; Serena doesn't even kill her food.

I'm wondering why there wasn't an option to side with Harkon or to kill Harkon but blot out the sun with either Serana or her mother as a sacrifice.

Having to shoot a little cupid arrow to make your wishes come true doesn't seem like much of a reward to me.

"Once the Dawnguard questline is complete, one can speak to her about curing her Vampirism. Should she accept, she will leave, saying she's heading to Falion for a cure. She will return to Fort Dawnguard after a few days, cured, yet she will still use the same dialog as though she were still a vampire and will still wear her hood when outdoors. If the Dragonborn persistently asks her about her potential pursuit of a cure at inopportune times, Serana may become upset and the Dragonborn will lose that dialog option."

Right from the wiki.

All i'm saying is, she doesn't need to kill or turn anyone in order to feed. Technically, that's more economic then the way we eat.
