I am currently on the Alduin's Bane quest and I'm struggling with this stupid dragon.

He simply does not give in, I tried lowering the difficult to no avail. He doesn't land on the ground and just flies around me. Occasionally, he lowers down and shouts fire at me and I'd hit back with the Elder Scroll but I just get blinded by the Scroll and he starts hovering around again!!


HELP PLEASE!!!

Duh you have to use dragonrend Edit: dont you listein to the story at all they say alot about dragonrend that you need it its the reason why u get the elder scroll

Use dragonrend to make him land then attack him. You don't use the elder scroll.

The shout 'Dragonrend' will make him land.

It's hard to hear but Paarthurnax tells you at one point to use it, as Alduin is too strong in the air

Why are you trying to use the Elder Scroll against Alduin? Stop.

Why are you using the Elder Scroll?! You're meant to use Dragonrend, did you not hear Paarthurnox?

I feel like a total [censored] now, can't believe I thought Dragonrend was the Elder Scroll
