Hunger Games inspired character

So after seeing that movie I have had a strong desire to create a female archer survivalist. Not specifically the main character, but just a female archer survivalist.

Race: Nord, was considering Imperial but resistance to frost made more sense for a survivalist than finding more gold.
Main skills: archery, sneak.
Secondary skills: alchemy(making my own poisons and healing agents), light armor, one hand(for when enemies get to close), smithing.

Smithing will only be used to make my own bows, and improve them and my armor. Obviously doing that it will never level but I also don't want it to level to quickly. So that it levels some and to stick to the character I am considering turning hides of animals I kill into hide or leather armor so I can say I'm using the entire animal. Will also cook as much as possible with meat from animals I killed, and try to eat and sleep daily.

Rules for myself:
1. no magic. No enchanting either.
2. limiting shouts. Will only use the ones that could be an innate skill. Like the throw voice, detect nearby enemies, calm animals, etc. No ice form, fire breath, summoning lightning, turning into a ghost, etc. Obviously there are places where you have to use a certain shout(sprint) so I will make exceptions when I have to.
3. Dead is Dead.
4. Running is ok, especially if it is something that looks scary or the character has probably never seen before.
5. Avoiding deadric missions. Might do the ones that seem like good things to do(so will get dawnbreaker), but otherwise avoid talking statues and men in bars who want to get me drunk.
6. If I join the civil war, which I will likely avoid with this character I will join the stormcloaks just because that is kind of sticking it to the man(the empire).

Other thoughts for this character?

PS. If you have not seen the movie go see it. Ignore the people comparing it to Twilight, the only thing they have in common is a teenage girl as the main character, and the teenage girl is very different. The girl from Hunger Games is more likely to kill a werewolf(in its wolf form) than kiss it.

I suggest you find your bows rather than crafting them. I think in the first book (The Hunger Games) Katniss says that she would be unable to make a bow even if she could find a some, and would need to find a bow. I know you're not specifically playing her, but it seems like something a survivalist would do.

Seems like a good idea. Ok no crafting except hide and leather. Will at least improve(maintain) gear though.

Which questlines should I do? I know I'll do all the little quests in towns.... Just because my lvl 71 battlemage is to busy with important things(like saving the world again) to bother with them. Thought I would do the thieves guild but debating that one. Know I will not do companions, mages, and unless some horrible event happens that would turn her evil I will avoid the DB.

To OP, I am glad I haven't heard people comparing it to Twilight, but if they are, they should be forced to compete in the Hunger Games.

To High Heart: She knows how to make bows. Her dad taught her (though she was never as good as him because he had been doing it for years). She just said that she would need to find one during the Games because she wouldn't have the proper equipment and materials (or time) to make one, not to mention a bow capable of killing a human.

Yea I thought the wooden bow she uses for hunting prior to the hunger games(not a spoiler, 5 minutes into the movie) she made herself. Still won't make my own bows though, you can't make the wooden ones(I tried), and I do think the metal ones would be to complex.

Rule 7. I will NOT swim in freezing water. If I have to I will take a frost resistance potion first. Seriously why doesn't freezing water harm your character(even drain stamina) in any form? My mage always casts flame cloak to keep himself warm just so I don't want to scream every time I go swimming(flamecloak also kills slaughterfish!)
Rule8. I will ignore the fact that I already know all the good alchemy potion receipts(my mage unlocked all of them) and only use combinations I learn from eating or buying the receipts.
Rule9. When I do improve gear I will only use ore that I gathered myself.
