HunterGatherer dlc thoughtsideas

Post » Sun Jul 01, 2012 12:22 pm

So first off I know there are a lot of dlc threads. I kinda hate it myself but this was an idea from He[censored]mains that I think is quite interesting. And I think if brainstormed it could turn into something that appeals to those who are really into the RPG side of the game.

But a dlc that has some sort of hunters guild with a story to it. There is already so many hunter camps/fishing camps that when you walk into them they say "Huh?". A dlc could expand on them, give some more interaction there. I say it time and again how I'd love to see dlc's that expand on what we have and not just throw new stuff at the game and this would be a perfect example. I don't know details or what sort of story would work best. I take no credit for the idea since as I said it was He[censored]mains that mentioned the idea in another thread. I just thought it warranted it's own thread because I think many rpg people may really like this. IF it was done well that is.

Again, I apologize for the new thread but I just think it could go somewhere. If not, then the moderators will see fit to lock it.

They could teach you to hunt under water with spears and train you to be faster maybe

I'm sure there are people that are more creative than myself that could come up with some excellent ideas for a name. But sometimes simple works.

If they were to bring spears and bring back the ability to fight underwater then having to speak to a hunter at some camp to learn the ability would be a great idea.
I just hate coming across all these hunter camps and have them look at me and say, "Huh?". Really, all these camps and nothing? :P

I'd like that, and to make it even more interesting, I want these things: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1375039-ideas-regarding-the-wildlife-of-skyrim/page__fromsearch__1

It'd be a very honest way of making money if you don't want to be a thief. You'd get more money the less mess there was after getting a kill, so it would make you hit somewhere different on, say a deer, somewhere harder to hit. Perfect DLC for an archer.

I never saw that thread, some great ideas there too and both would go together. Thanks for sharing the link.

Here's something you could learn from such a cabal of huntsmen...
An ability like Clairvoyance, but instead of objectives, is tracking the footsteps of a prey-of-choice. Like you're stalking that deer that ran off across the tundra, using the markings it's left behind.

There's definitely a lot of potential with something like this. Perhaps they already intend to. It would definitely make me feel better about all the camps of guys who say "huh?".
