Hunting on Horseback : V

Let me just say, horseback combat is awesome. What I really enjoy is hunting on horseback, chasing elk and deer, keeping pace, and putting that arrow in them at high speed. For some reason, it's a lot of fun. It's also fun to hunt Mammoth, though that takes quite a few more arrows. You've got to circle around, lest you be crushed.

It's also nice that I can kill wolves chasing after me without having to get off my horse.

I like to ride up on them and use my sword. I find bows to be very hard to aim in 3rd person.

Running into wolves while riding used to be the most annoying thing ever. High 5 to Bethesda for lowering my blood pressure 40 points

Yes this is what I most look forward to about horse combat. I also would really like throwing spears to hunt on horseback with them.

I want NPCs to ride horseback and then you could have horseback fights with other people with swords and shields, It would be pretty sweet. But at least now I can kill those giants more easily and flee at the same time.

They had to make the 11/11/11 release date. Also it might not have seemed like a good idea at the time or perhaps they never even thought of it.

Probably because they would feel the need to make other NPCs have the ability to do so and because it would have been more work and possibly more bugs for them.

I could not possibly agree more. What's equally satisfying is fighting bandits with a swords on horseback. I love it.

I started a new warrior just to fight on Horseback. Considering you can't use magic on horseback.
