HYBRIDS

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 4:50 am

Hi i like most of the people who play this game like to find a way around the restriction that the game designers have set. for example, the most common thing i see people asking is how to become a "hybrid" of a vampire & werewolf, and all the replies follow the same basic statement... "you can't". This is a lie. I found out about this little "back door" a little while ago. the reason for these negative statements is as follows, Vampirism in skyrim is listed down as a disease and so when becoming a werewolf the perks that come with it make you immune to all diseases and so cures you of vampirism. so here was my theory, all i had to do was make myself less resistant to disease. I later found a quest called "ill met by moonlight" where a man locked in either the falkreath or morthal dungeon is incarcerated, he tells you his story about how he thought that "the ring of hircine" would let him control his transformation. he tells you that the ring has been cursed and he wants you to take it, NOTE: you must already have werewolf blood in order to use the ring, he tells you were to find a white doe, where hircine will be. follow your waypoint to the doe and kill it, the spirit of the doe will appear and it will introduce himself as the daedric prince hircine, he tells you that you must go and find the prisoner and kill him, follow your waypoint to him, he will be hiding in a cave, where a group of hunters have been killed. find the prisoner and accept his offer to protect him from the other hunters. kill all the hunters then exit the cave. hircine will appear and tells you that even though you did not kill the prisoner he will reward you by removing the curse from the ring. the uncursed ring will allow you to become a werewolf as many times as you want without waiting a day. SPOILER, complete the companions quest line, eventually leading to Farkas and vilkas wanting your help to remove the werewolf blood/ curse. after doing this you will be able to do the same, whilst wearing the ring toss the head of the witch into the fire & destroy your werewolf spirit, note that you can still become werewolf using the ring of hircine now without any disease resistance. now find a vampire and let it attack you until you contract the first part of the disease. wait 3 days and you will become a full vampire use the ring to become a werewolf, thus removing the physical signs of vampirism (the teef and eyes) then wait another 3 days to get to stage 4 vampirism, again use the ring to remove the effect of that stage, this means that people will not attack you on sight , but may call you things like "stinking bloodsvcker" but remember sticks & stones. note that you cannot return to stage 1 vampirism as you cannot feed on sleeping victims, so only do this if you are hardcoe and never get hit ( especially by fire). Now you have broken the rules of skyrim and have become the first hybrid in all of Tamriels history.

But will it make me as strong as the blue guy from Underworld? Or just be a collection of drawbacks? Cool find though.

1. That is interesting
2. Learn how to segment that block of text using the wonderful invention of the paragraph
3. Use spoiler tags
4. If you post something that needs spoiler tags, then it should be in the spoiler section of the forums.

I must say I do like they way you put SPOILER more than half way into your post. Don't want to give TOO much away, do you?

Anyway I'm sure something like this will come along eventually, Beth knows some peeps would like to have a best-of-both worlds. We'll just have to see if they implement anything or have some type of "loop-hole" to allow it. And of course, there's mods.

Dralgar: Tbh its not as good as michael from underworld, the only real drawbacks are, your health and stamina do not regenerate in sunlight (even in beast form)
and you are 100% less resistant to fire but there are still some advantages.

Now i am sorry about the lack of paragraphs i never usually use them as i really cant be assed, so stop [censored]ing!
I am also sorry for the spoiler thing, this is my first post on this website and did not know about the spoiler tag
