I can't hit the switches as a deep one, and when I enter one of their minds, another one always spawns beside me. I read that you can bypass this bug if you clear out all the deep ones first, and I do that. But when the second one spawns alongside me, it makes it pointless because not only do I usually die trying to fight it as a deep one myself, but I still can't even hit the switches regardless of whether it's dead or not.

If I try to go back to Jack by sitting next to him in the pool, nothing happens and the other deep one rushes in and beats me to death. I think also that if I kill the other one, the mind control thing happens again, and I get respawned with the other one next to me again. I'm pretty sure there's no way around this.. Any ideas?

Also if I go to the far right statue as a deep one (That is, on my right as I enter from below), There's this weird glitch that allows me to become jack, and I switch places with the deep one, so Jack's beside the switch. He can't interact with it though, and after a while, I respawn as a deep one again.

Also it doesn't seem to matter whether or not I hit the gong initially. Although after the above scenario happens a few times, I think I have to.

I'm almost resigned to just watching the end on youtube. But I really just wanna finish this damn game.

Disregard this haha! I managed to get past it. For others sake's I'll give you an idea of what I did:

So basically when the thing happened which I mentioned in which I appeared as Jack up near the switch, I ran down to the gong and hit it with full power from the yith gun thing. Immediately after this, without moving from the gong, I'd appear as a deep one and was miraculously able to hit the switches! Each time I hit one I'd automatically return to Jack at the gong and repeat the process!

One thing to note is that while I switched into Jack, I'd occasionally switch back to being a deep one as I ran for the gong, but this stops being a problem when you reach it. I think I just switched back to Jack in a few seconds or else I'd clear out the other deep ones while playing as a deep one. God mode may come in handy for that if it's necessary seen as it's pretty difficult to fight well as a deep one. Also, if the far right switch statue doesn't make you switch into Jack, try some of the others. I think I got it to happen at the left middle one once. It starts happening no matter where you go after that.
