HydraLogix incompatability on AMD Motherboard

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 10:02 pm

I have a comparability issue with Hydralogix using 2 graphics cards.I'm getting flickering an complete crash on launch.

System specs
  • Amd Phenom ii 1100T Black Edition
  • MSI 870A Fuzion Power Edition
  • HIS IceQ Radeon HD 6870 H687Q1G2M
  • MSI N560GTX M2DIGD5
  • KHX1600C9D3K3/6GX
  • Corsair Force Series Sata 3 120GB Sold State Drive
  • Rocketfish 900watt
  • Windows 7 Ultimate
I have installed the latest patches an drivers.Everything is installed. When installing in Xmode im installing the 16.2 card AMD in the First slot the second 16x2.1 in the bottom slot an it is the main source for PhysX to work.Even so the screen locks.Just using the AMD card the game restarts blue screens or crashes. This was Overclocked to 4005Ghz it is back to standard of 3300Ghz.But the game still will not give any improvements or updates with the latest drivers.I have tried contacting Lucid for help but this was more on your game causing this.So i would like some assist or a patch please.

Sorry no clue how to help other than to say the new CAP profile has issues and if what you are using uses the CAP profile that may be causing the issue. I have no experience with your type of setup what does the second card function as? Just curious... I am interested always avoided multiple GPU setups but I have heard of this secondary GPU for physics.....is that what Hyrdalogix is?

This is more to development. This is a compatibility issue. Referring to this set up is a MSI Fuzion Upgrade found here.

This is considered high end because this is something that only company design can fix.

Bethesda's games have not seemed particularly compatible with either CF or SLI so far, so I would think if patching for those is still incomplete, your half and half hardware will be trailing behind those.

Actually the do work on older drivers but i still get a flickering effect from the MPU compatibility mix so i do get it to work with older cards however this does not mean the newer drivers are compatible. They completely crash the game.So it is a matter of updating there software to be more compatible and advanced.

If you dont know what i mean. This is a video of Crysis 2 compatablity with AMD cards.

This was what it was like on two older card drivers for both.So it is something that is not unfixable this is something for Bethesda Game Studios to fix.So im informing them.An i hope this message is getting through. This is not something a Gamer can fix. This is a hard ware compatibility issue. So this is a Multi-Graphics Processor issue.
