Ideas for dlc, right?
Hmm ok, I will diversify this tread a little.
-My idea is to make the psijic monks a more important protagonist in the story. Despite that the mage guild quest somewhat revolve around them, we hardly learn anything from them. I think they are far more interesting than the stormcloaks but that is my opinion. I am also intrigued by the fate of the dwarf and I thought, the psijic could help. Then you bring back the dwarf or some of their marvelous piece of engineering and pummel the Altmer back to summerset isle with a new gigantic robot(or something more original). Although, some might consider that it is a bad idea because you would need to complete the main quest, the civil war and the mage questline.
-I am going to extrapolate a "little" more. The shivering isle quest line was by far the best expansion I ever seen for about any games. Anyways, back to malicious daedric prince...What about making another expansion to visit the world of another one. Besthesda left a big hole to the Sheogorath-Jiggalag story. I want to continue it following the event of how the shivering isle "crisis" ended, and see Jiggalag army rebuilt.
Or, any other lesser known Daedric prince. Meridia for example, a "nicer" daedric prince is not necessarily a bad thing.
-Horse combat would be a nice addition.
-The cooking mechanics need some majors changes because I have currently no interest of keeping 50 unit of food in my inventory while I can just simply carry 5 healing potion or so.
-Crossbows and spears.
-Although that it is unlikely, I wish they brought the same "limb damage" mechanic that they have in the fallout serie to the elder scroll. If I shoot an arrow strait throughout a man's head, He should at least be crawlling in pain to the ground.
-Finnaly, I would really like a new skill. They brought back the dwemer's machines , thus adding somekind of enginneering skill would be cool. You could built automattons, barricades, cannons, etc. You get the idea. Essentially a pletora of devices to help you. At the same time, they could find a use for saws. Pickaxe and axes are useful, well ,so should the shovel, bucket, hammers and the rest of the tools you can find. While we are at it, one of the few new things I liked in new vegas was the blueprints. I think skyrim should have something similar.
Some (constructive) input would be appreciated.
