So, Velicky is gonna start making tutorials, someone just made a ForceGreet tutorial, I could probably make a few tutorials myself just with the skills I've gotten in the past three months or so.

It makes me think, why don't we make a sticky with tutorials, and as they get put up update the Wiki with them? If someone asks a question thats been answered 1 million times, we can just add it to the sticky. For example: How do I summon x? Answer: PlaceAtMe How do I teleport? How do I make messages with multiple options? etc. I've asked these questions before, and then done a search and realized how many times they've been asked. ForceGreets have always been a source of problems, and now we finally have a tutorial for it. I think a well organized thread with a constantly updated initial post as a library of tutorials would be good. We could link to all kinds of other sites and really have a comprehensive thing going without people needing constantly to search for threads or ask the same old questions we're all tired of answering.

Thoughts?

EDIT: I hadn't noticed that the video tutorial thing had non-video tutorials at the bottom. We can just edit that. Sorry ot bother everyone.

It would probably be better if there was a Creation Kit Tutorial forum specially set up for them. Otherwise, they'd just get lost in limbo.

As the forum clearly shows, people don't use the search function (or don't know how to). Most of the new posts you see daily, have been answered at least a dozen times before, but folk just don't search for the answer.

Even the video tutorial sticky is getting ridiculously long. I't's about time it was broken up into smaller individual sections. For example, one Section with Scripting as a link would be better, with the link containing all the different headings for scripting. Another link with Lighting as a heading and linking to another page with different headings for lighting....etc.

That way, there'd only be about 10 titles to look at and you could choose the title you're interested in. Much easier than scrolling down pages and pages of text, trying to find what you're looking for.

So, in theory, yes it's a good idea, if implemented properly.

I agree that one giant sticky is bad.

How about we get a 'master thread' stickied and locked. Then it's updated regularely to point to indevidual, non-stickied, not locked threads on scripting tutorials, quest, etc. I'd be happy to run it and update it regularely.

We just need to get a mod in on this so it can get stickied and the other one can be removed or cleaned up or somehow dealt with.

EDIT: Especially since the guy running that sticky hasn't edited the OP in almost 2 months, so maybe he is AWOL or something.
