(IDEA) Gambling racket

A mod where you can buy one arm bandits (slots) or maybe piece them together with parts, and get the rights to place them in different places like Goodsprings, Hoover Dam, Mojave Outpost, etc. and to get the rights you need either to buy, talk, or strong arm who's in charge and of course they will require some of the profits as well. Another idea anyone can have :icecream:

Anyone else like this?

Not a bad idea. But it seems far to labor intensive for the payoff. Cell changes, scripting, quest making and voice acting if your feeling fancy.

Rather than setting it up all around, I think you'd do better to assign one or one of several locations you could make your own casino (plenty of empty shells or boarded up houses).

Still some strong arming and racketeering might be nice

By god you have given me an idea! A mod where you can set up your own full blown casino! I was going to make a mod that simply adds one, but making your own from scratch would be quite nice!

True that would be easier but I think we will see a ton of casino mods in the coming year, I have read a few threads already. I know the idea I put out there is fairly involved as mods go but it is unique.

A more simple solution would be to add in a quest system that the player acts as an enforcer for an existing casino. Once you have all the quest logic up and running you could then apply it to any new casinos that come out, or re-apply it to a casino you make.
